That's pretty much what happened this week! I knew I wanted to work up some fun creations using my friend, Teri Sherman's digi images (Delicious Doodles). You see, she has a 1 year anniversary coming up on August 17th and I really want to show her my support. Please be sure to check it out! I will have more creations using Delicous Doodles to share with you next week! Be sure to watch The Sisterhood ... something special will be happening there too!!
Okay ... back to Midnight Madness! Today's sketches really made me "think . . . ALOT" but I'm very happy with the outcome. Somehow I end up with "my own" version which is usually a combination of both layouts. Today though, my creation leans more towards the "fancy" layout.
All of my background papers are from my "scrap bin" and I've had this beautiful image colored for MONTHS. I've added mauve Stickles to create my "lace" edge as well as my flower center and I've also added Crystal Effects to the flower to give it that REAL look. With the help of a few pop dots, dimension was also added!
So there you have it for today! I'm busy working in the crafting cave today even though I have a "dirty house" and "high grass"! I was suffering from CRAFTING WITHDRAWAL so the "work" will have to wait ... it's PLAY TIME!! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs to you all!!
