THANK YOU HOLLY!!

Hello my friends!

Today is a SPECIAL day over at Squigglefly!  Even though it is Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals turn to share inspiration samples for you, we are ALL (Holley Hobbyists included) here to share inspiration and a huge THANK YOU to our leader, HOLLY  YOUNG!

Holly has ALWAYS been very kind and encouraging to me!  She's 'Johnny on the Spot' to answer any of my questions or concerns and always has the latest images to the teams in plenty of time for us to create inspirational samples for you without being stressed by having to rush!  I was on Holly's team a few years back and was THRILLED when she contacted me this year and asked me to join the Squigglefly team once again!  Thanks for just being YOU Holly!!  God Bless You!

All the girls are creating a card for Holly today showcasing our JULY RELEASE images!  I have used an adorable Cheryl Grant Alger image called Bentley's Bee Fortune.  You can find this image and other images created by Cheryl by clicking on her name.

You will certainly want to pop on over to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog and check out ALL of the amazing samples the teams have created.  And, while you're there, why not play along in the current challenge which of course is themed ... THANK YOU!  Hope to see you there!

I would like to THANK YOU for taking the time to stop by my blog today!
It truly warms my heart!
As always . . .

Recipe for my card:

Papers:  White cs, GinaK Black/White dp
Sentiment:  Computer generated using PSE
Accessories: Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, Michaels satin ribbon, Michaels double stitched grosgrain ribbon, TH black distress marker for faux stitching, Quickie Glue Pen, DecoArt Glamour Dust (on wings)
Techniques: faux stitching and used a GB4 Spectrum Noir gold marker to color in some of the white lines on the design paper to mimic the bumble bee

  4. Dar, this is really CUTE! :) I know that Holly would really appreciate all of these cards. I would join in myself, but since my computer doesn't work, I've lost all of my hundreds of Squigglefly images that I had in it. Hoping that I can eventually recover some of them and SAVE them in an external hard drive!! Learned my lesson!

Anyway, rambling on...I adore your card!! :)
