You Still Have the Spark!

Happy Friday Dear Friends!

Scroll down for an UPDATE on the Broken Vagabond Saga from yesterday!
Today I have a masculine step card to share with you using products from the Crafty Secrets Store.  Masculine cards can be sometimes difficult to create but with the help of Crafty Secrets, I was able to put this one together rather easily!

I hadn't viewed my Crafty Secrets CDs for awhile now ... so that's where this all began.  The patterned paper I printed comes from the 'Illustrations' CD #2.  My roadster comes from the 'Digital Car Classics' set.  I printed it onto white cardstock, colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers then fussy cut it to add to the card front.  (didn't want to hide that fabulous patterned paper)  I am fortunate enough to own the original stamp set of this collection and that is where the small stamped cars on the corners came from.  You could easily print them as they too are available on this digital set.

For the inside I used another panel of the patterned paper, added my computer generated sentiment and these fabulous gears die cut with the Frantic Stamper - Gear Collage.  I thought it was appropriate for this masculine, car buff, gear head styled birthday card.  What do you think??

Here are a few challenges I'd like to share in:
Crafting with Dragonflies Challenge #32 - Center Step or Side Step Card
Fitztown Challenge #47 - Anything Goes
Crafting by Design - Vintage/Shabby Chic
The Outlawz Twisted Thursday - Anything Goes Twist: Men at Work

Well, that's about it for me today.  But before I leave I just wanted to remind you of the
going on until August 17th.

That's correct ... you get TWO WEEKS to play this month and you can create ANYTHING as long as it uses Crafty Secrets/Heartwarming Vintage products (only the DT follows the theme).  If you haven't gotten around to making a purchase yet (don't know why ... so many awesome prices/sales, lol) there are even freebie's you can grab in order to play along.  Check out the sidebar of our blog!!   All players receive a $6 gift voucher to the store and one lucky winner can win a $50 voucher!!  That could be YOU!!!

I'll be watching for your entry and run right over for a closer look and leave you some luv!!
Thanks for stopping by and till next time ...
Happy Weekend

  5. Wow! Fantastic job. You and I were on the same wave length yesterday. I made a step card, but it isn't as elegant as yours. Very clever, my friend.

  16. Dar, I 'm knee deep in BMW menus right now, but I had to take a break to come see what you have been up to. This card is DYNAMITE! I love the design, the way you've layered the printed papers and the digi images. Your coloring is always spot on, too! Such a great job. Sorry about your Vagabond...and I love the new addition to your cave. Hugs!
