Hello Everyone!
HOW'S YOUR WEEKEND GOING?
It's been a bit busy here in the cave but I did make some time last evening to play along with a challenge that caught my eye (thank goodness for blog subscriptions! LOL!).
It's the latest challenge at Fusion Card Challenge.
I find this to be an fantastic challenge blog idea!
I have always enjoyed sketches ... that is actually where my card making began (the sketch challenges at Splitcoast Stampers) and then I moved onto color challenge and then inspiration challenges ... the rest is history! The fun part of this challenge is you can have the best part of ALL those challenge ideas!!
Today I went with the sketch and utilized some items that have been laying on my craft table just waiting for me to do something with them.
The card base is actually one of several that I found in my stash that I didn't even know I had (gosh I need to clean this place a little more often! LOL!) The water design paper is from Paper Pizazz and the stamp sets are OLD Inkadinkado sets. The main image is from their 'Down By The Seaside' set and the birds/seashells from their 'Coastal' set.
The circle panel was die cut using Spellbinder Classic Circle dies from a panel I stenciled several weeks back using the Memory Box 'Bubbles' #88574 stencil with Tim Holtz 'Salty Ocean' and 'Picked Raspberry' distress inks. Versafine Onyx ink was used for all the overlay stamping.
Here are a few other challenges I found to share in:
Crafting for the Weekend #4 - Anything Goes
Little Claire's Designs Monthly Challenge #47 - Summertime
Treasured Times Rubber Stamps Challenge #21 - Anything Goes
The ABC Challenge - Q is for Quote
Allways Something Creative - Water
The Artistic Stamper August Challenge - Anything Goes (must use rubber stamps)
Scribbles Design Challenge - Sea, Sand and Surf
Fairy tale Challenge #97 - Sun, Beach, Sea
Fussy and Fancy Challenge #119 - Words
Well, there ya have it!
I have so much crafting to get completed for August ... I'd better quit playing around and get busy! OH and I'm in the process of putting together the newest addition to my cave!
Here's a sneak peek ...

THERE'S MORE TO COME!
I'm SO EXCITED!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Now I really MUST get busy! LOL!
As always ...
