Power & Spark Challenge - Take 2

Happy Day to you all!!
I'm having so much fun playing in the Power & Spark Challenge, I just had to create
a second card using a different sketch from the ten sketches (maps) offered!

You can check out all the fabulous sketches & the teams samples HERE.

For today's card I chose the map used by DT member Katie Simms.
And this is the page map I chose:

Here is my interpretation of the map . . .

I can guarantee you if I hadn't had this sketch to begin, I would have
NEVER come up with a beautiful design like this on my own!!
I really do LOVE how this card came together.

I've used the same Power Poppy stamp set called Sassy Succulents
for my sentiment and I think the font goes so well with the over all design.

 Product used:
Papers:  White cs, Basic Grey 'Marrakech Paper Pad'
Accessories:  Jambo Lace Roll Tape, 3M dimensional tape, Art Glitter glue, Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers

After cutting my designer paper to a 3" width (card is A6 in size), I then die cut the striplet and bordered it with lace.

Then to add dimension, I die cut the daisies 4 times from white card stock, stacked them together and colored the top panel using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers before attaching to the 'stack'.

Another fun crafting day!

Challenges to share in:
Colour Crazy Craft Challenge - ATG (colored the flowers)
Crafting with Friends Challenge #58 - ATG
QKR Stampede Challenge #279 - ATG
Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #63 - Anything BUT square

Thanks for stopping by and thanks in advance for your comments!  They always warm my heart!

As always . . .

That sketch is a beautiful way to use the striplet die! Can't you imagine making bunches of cards with striplets now? I know you have more than one. Oh, the possibilities! This is gorgeous, Darlene. I really love how it looks with the striplet cut blending into the solid panel of designer paper. And then the daisies on the side... soooo pretty!

What a pretty card, Darlene. You're one creative gal! I wanted to stop by and say THANK YOU for your kind words on my blog this morning. It means so much to me to have your thoughts and prayers; especially on Friday. I look forward to that PT and getting back to feeling "normal" again. Just really want to have all my nerves working properly because this tingly sensation is getting old. Thank you, dear friend, for being so compassionate. It means so much. I'm also excited to get back to crafting afterwards, and curious how long it will be.

By the way, don't forget about my challenge blog (Word Art Wednesday). I love having you play along, and we have awesome prizes up for grabs. You would also probably enjoy the challenges at CropStop - and that's a fun one. I always enjoy learning about new challenges where I can share my art. Limited for now, but as Arnold Schwarzenegger said....."I'LL BE BACK"!!!
