Hi Everyone!
I've been telling you about my upcoming 'Card Party' (today) and have been sharing creations with you that have been inspired by Heather Telford (Bits & Pieces). Well today, I have a couple of cards that were inspired by another lady. Her name is Nadine and her blog is Wahine Inks. I also found Nadine through Ann S. Taft, whom I follow over on Pinterest. You can click on Nadine's blog link to see her creation that I have cased.
The floral stamp used on both creations is by PENNY BLACK (Allegro - "T for Transparent") and the Cuttlebug embossing folder I used is 'textile'. The butterflies on the white card is a Martha Stewart punch and after punching, I ran them through the Cuttlebug using the same textile folder. SU markers were used directly on the stamp before stamping on the above (white) card. VersaMagic 'cloud white' chalk ink was used on the black card creation below. Though difficult to see, green 'chalk' was used over the chalk INK on the stems.
These two cards were very quick & easy and without using layers (as I normally do) ... the ladies at the card party won't have to worry about additional postage when mailings.
Well ... I've been a CRAFTING FOOL lately so I'll go EASY on you today! LOL! I think I'm ready for my 'Card Party' today. Wish me luck ... hopefully the ladies will be in a 'buying mood'! LOL!
Have a wonderful weekend and HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY to you!!
Hugs,
Darlene
