Prima - Julie Nutting Doll Hop (Week 1)

WOW!  Have you seen the Prima Julie Nutting Mixed Media Doll stamps?  They are ADORABLE!
A few of us are having so much fun with them that we’ve decided to put together a 4 Part HOP and the rules are very simple.  Each Tuesday throughout the month of August we will be sharing creations made with a variety of these fabulous stamps to inspire you.
All you will need to do is HOP to each of our blogs each Tuesday in August and leave us a comment.
Be sure to include your email address because on August 30th we will EACH BE GIVING AWAY A PRIZE.  We will be sharing what our individual prize packages are on our blogs.  REMEMBER … you will need to comment EACH TUESDAY to qualify for the prize!  AND … if you share our hop info on your blog, your name will go in twice towards the prize.  WAIT THERE’S MORE!  If you become a follower/subscriber you get a THIRD CHANCE!!

So what do you say?  Ready for some fun??

With there being four Tuesday's in August, we decided to use the SEASONS as our weekly theme on our Prima doll projects.  So, for our 1st week we are thinking SPRING!

I decided to turn a Michael's $1 wooden photo frame into a pretty floral wall/table frame suitable for a photo or sentiment of your choice.

I am thrilled to say I am your first stop on this fun filled hop and you are truly going to be inspired with each and every stop you make along the way!  These ladies are so creative!

DARLENE (Dar's Crafty Creations) YOU ARE HERE!
MARY   (Primitive Seasons)
LISA   (A Mermaids Crafts)
DIANE   (Nellies Nest)
MINDY   (Mulberry Mindy)
JOYCE  (Scrap For Joy)

This adorable Prima 'Ruffle' doll is all dressed up in her spring dress ready to go for a walk in the sunshine, smell the roses and watch the butterflies.

This beautiful flower cluster were originally all ivory toned but I thought I'd pick up some of the colors in her dress by using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers to color them ... worked perfectly!!

The fabric sentiment panel reads:
"Do not go where the path may lead;
go instead where there is no path and leave a trail"
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hope you like my FIRST project for our Prima Doll Hop and are inspired.  You next stop is MARY ... wait until you see what she has created for you!
