Hello All!
Well here we are ... first week of October 2017 and another MONDAY!
Monday's are not always easy but, so far so good!
Yesterday I told you about being involved in the 'new to me' online magazine called Creative Inspiration Magazine. Have you popped over to check it out yet? In the video, right around 3 minutes is where you begin to see my cards. Right after the beautiful scrapbooking layout designs. TONS of inspiration in so many categories ... please do pop over and have a peek!
NOW ... today ... I was invited to a Facebook Group called Paper Craft Artist. This is a closed group but from now until Sunday night if you're interested, they are having an open enrollment. Another fun place to draw crafting inspiration and they have a little challenge fun too! To get the ball rolling, their challenge which will end on 10-15 is to use Fall Colors (orange & brown). Here's what I've created to share . . .
Inside |
I'm in desperate need of birthday cards for an upcoming show
so I created a background using the coloring of orange/brown but then
instead of a fall theme, I used this cute image that I had printed off
months (probably years) ago and never colored/used. I'm sorry ... it's been so long
I don't remember who's image it is! If you know, please leave a comment!
The background panel was actually created using both watercolor paints
AND Tim Holtz oxide distress inks! Yep, I used them both starting
with the watercolor paints then touches of the ink and lots
of water & drying in between.
And for the sentiment, I am LOVING this fun My Sentiments Exactly!
stamp set called 'Birthday Innies & Outies'.
A few other challenges to share in:

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope your week is off to a FABULOUS start!!
As always . . .
