What are YOU doing today??

Hello friends!
It's been a little quiet on my blog recently so I thought I'd share with you one of the reasons why!
My Fall show at the Country Club was Wednesday and it was a great success.  And, from that show I got an order for 400 of these sweet holiday candy boxes.  Yes, I said 400 ... egads what was I thinking??

They are for a holiday function held the end of November, beginning of December so I have a little time but since these are all made from SCRATCH I need to get on them immediately.  Luckily my daughter came up yesterday and gave me a hand for a few hours ... huge help.

Hopefully I'm off to a good start ... now to just keep the momentum going!  LOL

Last evening I went to the airport and picked up my high school friend Dorothy Daley who will be staying with us for a few days.  She & I are attending our 50th class reunion this evening.  OMG where has the time gone??  Can't wait to see some old friends!

Also, my house is still in a shambles from having painters here the last 4 days but that will all have to wait until next week.  LOL can only do so many things at one time!  LOL

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

  1. Holy cow, Darlene! 400??!!! Only YOU could pull that off! You mean you can't do it all at once? I'm in awe. I'm really glad your hard work paid off in your fall show, and now you've got lots more work on your hands. And here I am, trying to get around to one little birthday card...

  2. Oh my!!! How many work for making 400 of these beautiful Christmas gift boxes!! You will be soooooo busy for a long time! :D

  3. Oh my! That surely will be keeping you busy for quite a spell. No wonder you have been quiet but they are surely fantastic and I can see why you got lots of orders for them.

  4. Egads... what were you thinking? I am making 100 Lawn Fawn Boxes where the die does the work, and I thought I was an over achiever. You always amaze me with your talent and your energy.

  5. Good for you! Work exciting. [Bunny]

  6. Wow 400 that would totally overwhelm me I think. How exciting though and glad you are getting a little help from your daughter. So glad the show went well for you also, I haven't been on facebook much so hadn't heard.
Hope you enjoyed your 50th class reunion.

Thanks for taking the time to leave me some love!
