A Fall Birthday Card

 Hello Friends & Welcome Back!

I know I've been a bit MIA lately but the weather here in NE Ohio has been SO BEAUTIFUL I've been taking advantage of being able to get outdoors and finalize my Fall clean up.  Pruning, leaf blowing, final mowing, etc ... well you get the picture ... so not a lot of crafting going on but I did create a Fall background slimline card a month or so ago and thought I would finish it off and share with you today.

For the background I used a Tim Holtz stencil and distress inks.  My die cut leaves are from a very old X-Cut Leaves die set that I die cut from a scrap of white cardstock that I inked up using a few Fall colored oxide inks.  Crystal Effects were used on the accent leaves.  My birthday wishes sentiment came from an Altenew stamp set.

Challenges to share in:

Color Throwdown Challenge #618 - Color

Aud Sentiments Challenge #263 - AG + sentiment
Seize the Birthday Challenge #203 - AG option-topper

I would also like to share this card with the Slimline Card Addicts FB group where I'm finding LOTS of slimline inspiration.

Well, that's it for me today.  It's nearly noon and the temperatures are getting nice outside so I'm out of here and headed to the great outdoors to do some work and soak up some sunshine!

Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by!  I always am so thrilled to hear what you have to say so please leave me a comment (good or bad lol).  Enjoy your day!

  6. Who could leave a bad comment on this? It's really a stunning creation, Darlene! Nice stencil, and beautiful inky leaves. Keep on enjoying that fall weather. I'm into deep house cleaning while the rain falls, but plenty to do outside, as well.
