More Slimline Fun

Happy Tuesday Friends!

I'm having so much fun creating with some of the new Slimline dies and just had to share a couple with you that I created over the weekend.  There's a new (well, new to me) FB group geared strictly towards Slimline cards and I'm really grabbing some amazing inspiration ...you'll have to check 'em out.  It's called SLIMLINE CARD ADDICTS

Anyways ... here's a fun one that I started awhile back by designing the  'coffee stain'  stencil background.

I looked through my tea/coffee styled dies and came up with this design using the  Penny Black 'What's in Your Cup' die set #51-281.

what’s in your cup? picture

I decided on two cups of Hot Chocolate and maybe a cup of Latta in the center.  I have used the same cup die for all but used the reverse side for the bottom on so it faced the opposite way.

I've also popped up my mugs using 3M dimensional tape.  The sentiments were from a Pink & Main stamp set call 'Christmas Mugs' #PM0243.

Card #2 was also a fun card to create but this time I decided on a winter scene.

I started out with a medium blue card stock base card then created the background sky using a scalloped die and white craft ink/sponge dauber.

I've used the Kat Scrappiness 'Wonky Stitched Nesting Slimline die set to create my frame.  I've used the largest die ... then to create just the frame I die cut the next size down from the larger panel.

My snowy trees is a Karen Burniston 'Outdoor Scene' die which I've cut twice and spliced together for the length I needed.  My cute Poppystamp 'Curious Fawn' is just dreaming of the day he can be a part of the team pulling Santa's 'Cheery Lynn Designs' sleigh.  The 'Believe' sentiment die is from Tutti Designs and the string of lights is from the Hunkydory 'Build a Snowman' die set.  I've used various colors of Stickles for the lights.

I've used dimensional tape around the framing panel to give it dimension so it appears Santa was further away but now coming into the foreground.

Well, I guess that's enough fun for one day!  LOL
