Working on holiday cards . . .

 Hello Friends!

Needless to say, it's that time of year when all of us crafters are working on our Christmas cards so I have a couple holiday cards that I made a week or so ago to share today.

Both card were created due to left over pieces from other projects ... waste not, want not they say!!

I had used this blue plaid background paper on another project so decided to used what was left on this card.  A fairly SIMPLE creation but pretty none the less!  My focus panel was created by using a scrap of navy blue card stock then stamping my snowflakes and sentiment using white craft ink.  A small snowflake die & 3 little dots of Nuvo White Crystal Drops where all the embellishments needed.

I thought the sentiment was so pretty ... here's a close up.

I would like to share this card in the ABC Christmas Challenge - W for Winter Wonderland

For my second card, I had actually created the black/white card base with an entirely different thought in mind but then once again switched gears so this card base was left sitting on the work table.

I have several 12x12 sheet of holiday paper with sentiment panels in my stash that I bought years ago from Heartfelt Creations and FINALLY I thought to use one of them!  Not sure why I'm hoarding them!!  They are so pretty ... maybe that's why!  LOL  Don't want to use them  ... just look at them!  Crazy lol!

The side lacy die cut is from a European company called Joanna Sheen.  The top icicle border is an old Martha Stewart punch and the Falalala is a die from Frantic Stamper

Sharing this card in a few challenges.  First up is the Little Red Wagon Challenge #575 - Non-Traditional Christmas Colors ... next, the new Allsorts Challenge for week #597 - Lace, real or faux with an Anything Goes option and the Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday November challenge - Christmas.

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!
I hope you have a fabulous day today!!

  6. I so love these two cards you made. I know I have leftovers from Heartfelt Creations I should use again some year for holiday cards. But I sure love the designs you made. I love the white and blue snowflakes together. And the white framing on the scene card is awesome as well.

  8. I love your cards. I think I have some of those panels from Heartfelt Creations stashed somewhere in my room but I have no idea where they might be hiding! All your cards are ones that I would love to see show up in my box. Gorgeous my friend!

The second card is just gorgeous, terrific image, love the fancy corners that frame it and like your border and icicles you added to go with it, so good that you have brought them out to use them again!
