Hello friends!
There's a brand new challenge blog owned by Deanne that is out in Blogland and the fun starts TODAY!
It's called First Cup Challenges!
AND ... I've been SO anxious to let you all know that Deanne has asked me to be a design team member on this fun new blog. It's all about HOT or COLD beverages ... be sure to read the details in the TAB below her header titled 'But first ... some rules'.
For my first card, I've had some fun with a very old Tim Holtz stencil and an image I spotted on Pinterest.
OKAY ... so I have a confession to make!
When I printed this image out, not sure what happened but it was A LOT bigger than I expected (or planned) it to be! SO instead of die cutting around & matting the image, I grabbed my swivel craft knife and fussy cut out what image did print and used it that way ... Good Lord, you didn't expect me to throw it away did you??? LOL
The card base is old Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip card stock and I used Tim Holtz 'Vintage Photo' distress oxide ink for my stenciling. VIOLA!
I can't wait for you to come join in the fun at this new challenge blog and inspire me with YOUR hot or cold beverage designs!
You have all month so PLENTY of time to create & share!!
Thanks for stopping by and as always ...
This is fabulous and those spatters could be my work table here LOL, Congrats on your new DT, you will have a ball with it I am sure!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card design! And congratulations on your new design team position.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great coffee cup image and I love it just cut out and placed on the background. I'm sure this challenge will be a hit. Lots of possibilities!
