Happy Friday the 13th Everyone!!!
Today's Stamp Simply Challenge over on Sharon Johnson's notimetostamp blog is to use MONOGRAMS. Either on a card, scrapbook page, 3d project ... whatever you choose. Since my sister's in law both have birthdays coming up, I thought I get a jump on things and make them each a boxed set of notecards. Since neither Mark or I know what their middle names are, I chose to just go with the last name initial ... obviously that will be "P" for Pavlick.
I recently saw this box & notecard set posted on Kay Squires blog and asked her if she minded me "casing" them ... we had a good chuckle when she said she had originally cased them herself from none other than Sharon Johnson ... Imagine that!!
A short while back I purchased this awesome BoBunny paper from my friend Tammy Hershberger at Toyrifix and thought since it was 2 sided, it would be perfect for this project. The two sheets of 12x12 made the box and 8 cards. I know my photo only shows 6 cards but I went back and used the little scraps I had left and made 2 more ... couldn't bear to waste the little that was left. I've used the JustRite Special Occasion Monogram kit for my monogramming and the image on the front of the box is by Outlines Rubber Stamps. The bottom border on the cards are both Martha Stewart border punches.
A quick & easy set that I'm sure my sister-in-law will enjoy. Guess I'll have to pay Tammy a visit and pick out the paper for the other set ... and see what else I NEED while I'm there! LOL!
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to pop back later today when I'll be posting my FIRST TIME EVER TUTORIAL. It's a really fun project that you won't want to miss. See you then!!
