The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge

WOW ... here we are in February already!
With that being said, I'm sure Cupid is lerking around the corner ...
so today's challenge at The Sisterhood is:

VALENTINES


The designer paper is K&Co. and the hearts were cut using the Spellbinder Nestled Hearts dies. This 'lovely' couple were cut out (and popped up) from the Crafty Secrets  Heartwarming Vintage Creative Scraps called 'Altered Fairies'.  My ribbon comes from Michael's and I've added red Stickles for sparkle.


Couldn't help but make another card ... what do you think?
The images are from another Craft Secrets Heartwarming Vintage Creative Scraps sheet called "Love Mail".  I had used this white panel to die cut a Memory Box 'Quinn Flourish' which I needed for another project ... then ran this panel through the Cuttlebug with the Hearts embossing folder.  It positioned over the Crafty Secrets image perfectly ... and a card was 'born'!  I cut out the cupid from the same creative scrap and popped it up with dimensionals.  A little light sponging was done with SU Pink Pirouette ink around the opening ... just to give a little extra dimension and softness.  My little hearts at the bottom corner are from the Spellbinder Scallop Heart dies.

    Lovely vintage look cards. What is it about Valentine cards, they seem to inspire people to make more than one? Perhaps crafter's are just romantic at heart!
