Mine is certainly better today then it was yesterday (got into a fight with some yellow jacket hornets) Yikes ... NOT a good thing! But I'm okay and they are DEAD!!!!
Anyways, I was lucky enough to win some adorable 'The Digi Garden' images over at The Poodle Parlor last week and after a heads up from Jacqui, decided to join in their 'customer challenge' with this cutie which is a PRECOLORED image called 'GnomeBoy1'. My background papers are from the DCWV 'Once Upon a Time' and 'Glitter' matstacks. The satin ribbon is from Michaels and the butterfly is a Spellbinder die. I've used my Fiskars swivel craft knife to cut out the image and popped up both him and the butterfly. I think it came out pretty cute.
Other qualifying challenges:
Critter Sketch Challenge - Use a digi
Digi Doodle #120 - Things with Wings
My Heart Pieces - Use designer paper
Crafts & Me - Use a Digi
Another card I'd like to share today is one I made yesterday for last week's CAS (clean and simple) challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers. You were to use Blue & White and of course, keep it CAS. Here I've used the 'Anchor' stamp set by Our Daily Bread, watercolor pencils and chalk for my coloring. A bit of blue hemp was my embellishment.
I'm trying my hand as CLEAN and SIMPLE cards because I think they are good to have in my collection for the upcoming craft show but it's really not my favorite style. If you've seen my blog, you know I like all the muss & fuss ...
Here's a card I couldn't wait to make using two new Impression Obsession stamps I purchased at The Stamp Pad in Zoar, Ohio over the weekend. Prismacolor markers were used for my coloring.
Lastly is a card I quickly made because I had this vision in my head of what I wanted to create using this masculine stamp (also Impression Obsession purchased in Zoar) and it's NOT exactly what I envisioned but it's close. I think the colors are a bit OFF but at least now I can see what I need to do next.
Well, I guess I've shared enough for today.
I hope you have a fabulous week and stop back when you get the time!
Thanks for the visit!
Time to go put more Benedryl on my bee stings!
