Good Evening blogging friends ... hope you've had a nice day!
Hubby & I spent all afternoon looking at granite, quartz, formica and other materials used to make counter tops. Yep, our house is 13 years old and we are ready to replace the counter tops with something a little more modern and bright. I'm leaning towards the quartz ... love that little sparkle that it has.
Anyways, didn't get much crafting time in today but did manage to get a card put together for the challenge over at Joan's Gardens. Selma has all the details on her blog since Joan had surgery this week and is a bit busy with recuperating at the moment! If you'd like to join in ... here are the requirements:
- Use at least 2 butterflies
- Add at least 3 different types of flowers
- Use aqua or light blue and white for the background
- Add a sentiment
- Must Use Something sold at JOAN'S GARDENS on your card
I really enjoy playing this challenge because it continues to make me think outside of my 'normal' crafting box! Joan & Selma ALWAYS come up with fabulous themes ... thanks ladies and GET WELL SOON JOAN!!
A few other challenges I'd like to enter into are:
Papercraft Star - Use a Stamp

ReplyDeletethis is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeletemy house is 13 yrs old too and i'm ready to redecorate. just have to save up for it. modular homes are different from stick homes and everything costs more... which really sucks. my neighbor DID do her own countertops with the new paint that's out. said it was a bit of a process, but it turned out fabulous!
take pictures.
hugs :)
