A New Year - Crafty Secrets Style

Good Morning Bloggers!
Brrrrr is it as cold at your house as it is at mine??  
It's cold already (in the teens) and we're expected record breaking cold over the next few days.  Bring on the Springtime!  LOL!

Anyways ... I've gotten a bit off track!
I grabbed this newest freebie and created a quick & easy step card.


I have a few unique fold card dies that I really need to start using more!
Like this step card die from Cheery Lynn Designs.  It was the perfect backdrop for this fabulous calendar image which I've colored with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers..  I have a few friends who are celebrating birthday's this month ... I think I'll turn this into a birthday card for one of them.
The 3d butterfly embellishments are K&Co and I thought they were the perfect compliment to the buttercup flowers on the image.  
(Like I said ... come on Springtime! LOL!)

Well, that's it for me today!  
We have friends coming over this evening so I'd better do a little light cleaning around the house.  It's still Christmas here at the Pavlick house as we celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas.  So that means, come next week I will be doing what most of you already have completed ... getting everything put away for another year!

    Darlene, Gorgeous card and love how your image turned out with those beautiful colors. Love your butterflies. For this year I'm going to try and work ahead for my challenges so I'm not always last minute and cleaning OUT my craft room of thing I have not used in years and not to make room for new stuff. Also starting NOW keeping up with comments, I'm so tired of falling behind.

    Gee Darlene, I missed this as I didn't look far enough back. It's stunning! Now I need to make a blank month people can use as it looks neutral enough it would work for several months
