It's Squigglefly Challenge Time!
This time around, we are creating ANYTHING we like using SOMETHING NEW we got for Christmas! How much fun is that!!
Since I wasn't sure if we were still supposed to use a Squigglefly image on our creation, I made two cards ... one WITH and one WITHOUT! LOL ...
My first creation is the one WITHOUT ...
It was a lot of fun to make and I've used two different DEER dies I received ... Impression Obsession DIE-117C (2 deer set used top right and again bottom left) as well as the Cottage Cutz Winter Wonderland Deer (the 3 deer grouping in the middle).

I started out but stamping an Inkadinkado snowflake stamp with white craft ink onto medium blue cardstock then started tearing scraps of white cardstock to create my snow. I felt it needed a few trees so I stamped the Heartfelt Creations 'HCPC3432' - Magnificent Spruce Trees with Memento 'Bamboo Leaves' ink then did a little fussy cutting and positioning. What do you think?
A few challenges:
Craft A Scene - Create your own theme (Wintertime deer spottings).
Crafting When We Can - Outside (C5)
Great Impressions - Use something New (deer dies)
Roby's Fetish #194 - No pattern paper ... card stock only
My second card uses the adorable 'Winter Birds' digi image by Carmen Gamble. How cute are these little guys and they are all ready for those harsh winter days!
My new item on this card is the Cheery Lynn Designs 'B148-Holly Flourish' die which was cut out of SU 'old olive' card stock.
My background paper comes from the Kaiser Craft 'Twig & Berry' paper pack. To add a little texture, I tore a strip of brown cardstock and placed it behind the image. The beautiful corner treatments come from the Memory Box #98238 die called "Snowflake Corner". I've colored my image using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and the background was lightly sponged with TH 'broken china' ink for the sky.
I hope you'll come join in our challenge fun over at Squigglefly!
And, if you need inspiration, by all means check out what my team mates have created ... you are certainly to find inspiration from this talented group of ladies!!!
Till next time ... thanks for taking the time to stop by!
I always appreciate your visit and comments!
