Hello friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Addicted to Stamps Challenge Blog.
Today, Miranda is our hostess and the theme she has chosen is:
CASS
clean and simple summercard
I decided to go back in time and use one of my very first
Stampin' Up stamp sets called Seaside Sketches (circa 2003).
I stamped my image onto a panel of white card stock
the attached the masked image I created years ago and had
stuck onto the top of my wooden block before using Tim Holtz distress
inks for my coloring.
Love how it turned out . . .

Darlene, this is truly beautiful! This SU set is a classic and I still see it being used fairly often. I love her purple dress and the background you created. Glad you showed the photo of your set with the masks in the box. Whenever I create a mask I keep it with the set till it plumb wears out. Love this!

Love your card Darlene, I still have this set and was looking at it the other day wishing it was a current stamp. To me it coordinates with the Good Man stamp set. SU should bring this back. Let's suggest it. Have a great day!

Darlene as soon as I saw this image I recognized it...while I didn't own it long ago...I did just purchase it at a resale shop. Alas, it is missing the seagulls! You have inspired me to try and use it, such a lovely card. I absolutely LOVE seeing old stamps get used!
