Hello Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Alphabet Challenge Blog.
Today's letter is "G"
for
GLITZ or GRUNGE
I chose Glitz ...
I've actually had this beautiful Poppystamps 'Large Winterland Faerie'
die cut and sitting on my work table for some time now.
Today I decided it was time she put on a sparkly dress and adorned the front of a card
as a 'ballerina'! It's hard to see, but her ballet slippers also sparkle.
The background paper I've used is from the Echo Park
6x6 'Happy Birthday' paper pack. And, the star was die cut from pink card stock
using the largest die in the Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Stars die set.
Beautiful card , love the colours and the die cut ballerina
ReplyDeleteI love all the glitz. This is a pretty card and a lovely die. [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteI am glad you chose the glitz! This is a wonderful card and that dancer is dressed beautifully!
ReplyDeleteVery glitzy!!! Beautiful ballerina/fairy die. Love the soft colours you used with that beautiful star to showcase her. Beautiful card for all the ballerinas in our lives :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!

Oh, this is fabulous, Darlene! I love what you did with the fairy die cut. This would make any young dancer happy! LOVE!
ReplyDeleteOooh, you turned your fairy into a ballerina and it's perfect! Love how you used the star as a mat to emphasize both the dancer and the sentiment. I do see the sparkle on her slippers. This must be spectacular IRL. Don't you have a ballerina in the family? Or maybe that was you in your younger days. At any rate, this card is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cheerful card, love the sparkly dress.
ReplyDeletethat is too cute, great job on the sparkle/Glitz, I did notice it on her slippers also before you mentioned it :)
