Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today I'm filling in for Tutti Designs team mate Jenn over on the Tutti Designs Blog.
Jenn is under the weather and we hope she's feeling better real soon!
I've had a lot of fun creating a card using one of the May Released dies called
When
I decided I wanted to die cut my whale from white card stock and color
in the little fish and sea weed pop outs, I didn't realize I had two
sheets of card stock stuck together. This error worked out okay since
it gave me more fishies to play with LOL. I had actually colored all
the pop out pieces while still in the cut out before realizing my error.
As you can see here now I have more pieces I can use for my card design ... perfect! Love Happy Mistakes!! LOL
I've also used the Tutti Designs 'Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangle' die set to create the background for my whale as well as my computer generated sentiment panel.
I've used a white Gelly Roll pen to create all the bubbles coming
up from the fish as well as additional bubbles on the black background panel.

ReplyDeleteAdorable card! Love the whale die cut!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love happy mistakes, like that you colored in the ones inside the whale, and the extras really give a great extra touch to the card!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card, really it was a happy mistake, the white fishes looks great around the whale!
ReplyDeleteThis is so dang cute, Darlene! Tutti is getting very creative with their dies. I love the idea of the scene within the whale die. Happy accidents are the best kind!
ReplyDeleteWell this looks great. It is always nice to have extra items to work with. I love the whale die you used and that is a great sentiment.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute card Darlene. Love the die (it caught my eye earlier this month) and how you've used the negative pieces. So glad you shared it with us for the Scrapy Land Challenge #116. :-).
ReplyDeleteYou know, Darlene, when I first looked at whale die, I thought that it was very pretty but couldn't think what to do with it, and now after seeing your project, WOW. It looks beautiful and tropical and makes me want to head out to the beach :-) Love it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
