Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!
Our theme, chosen by Sistah Ina is:
Masculine
Today I have used a die set that is perfect for most guys!
It is the Sue Wilson (CED23034) - Three Cheers

To create my background, I simply took a scrap piece of white card stock and sponged on a couple different colors of TH Distress Oxides in shades of blue.
I then die cut a white panel using the Paperrose #16969 - Quatrefoil Layer 1 and placed it over the top.
I've also used the Memory Box 'Wrapped Stitch Frames' (#30117)
I have water colored my 'beer' using Tombow Markers and used Liquid Applique to create the 'beer foam' on the top.

You've done it again... made me fall in love with a die set. That Sue Wilson beer set is so great! Love how you've combined everything to bring this together. A perfect guy card!

pretty inking of your background and love the delicate die to go with it, excellent job not only on coloring the beer but love how you did the foam!

ReplyDeleteThis card is sooooooo inviting especially after time out in the garden - a beer goes down so well. Love the froth and the ale a perfect colour.
