Today I thought I'd join in on the fun over at the Allsorts Challenge Blog #858 where the theme is  Sympathy / Thinking of You / Get Well.

I have a standing order for Thinking of You cards for my cousins church and it's nice to be able to share a few of those here on my blog.  This fun challenge gave me that opportunity today! 

 

 

Inside view 

 I've used scraps of patterned paper from the Brutus Monroe 'SUNFLOWERsoiree' 6s6 paper pack.

    

 Sue Wilson (CEDSS006) 2 part 'Thinking of You' die set was used for the front sentiment and a Simon Says 'Sending Happy Thoughts' stamp set (from my Doni Collection) was used on the inside.

Can You Handle the Pressure - Twist - Cloudy Day

 Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is ...

Cloudy Day

Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on your projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

 Here's what I've created to inspire you today ...

 

 Product used:

 

Darice 'Cloudy Sky' embossing folder
Poppystamps 'Picket Fence'
Cottage Cutz 'Grass Border'
Impression Obsession 'Split Tree'

 Tutti Designs 'Scallop Stitched Rectangle Dies'

 

After embossing a medium blue card stock panel I lightly sponged over the embossing with white pigment ink to bring more accent to the shape of the clouds.   The sentiment was computer generated and a bright yellow prima flower was added to represent the sun.

A sweet Strawberry Birthday card . . .

 Hello dear friends . . .

My but time is flying by!  I can't believe we are already well into September ... a very busy time of year for me!  But I did spot a challenge that caught my eye and wanted to play along.  The challenge I'm referring to is that over on the AAA Birthday Card Challenge (#89) where the theme is Patterned Paper. 

     

 I was inspired by the design team member Vicki used on her card HERE and since I already had this pretty pack of Creek Bank Creations 'Strawberry Paper Pad' laying on my table, That is the direction I went in.

 I actually created two cards, this first card is the one inspired by Vicki.

Card #1

 

 I've die cut my sentiment dies several times then stacked them together for added dimension.  The HAPPY die is from the Memory Box 'Share the Happiness' (#30007) die set and the word BIRTHDAY is from Tutti Designs.

 Card #2

 I've used the same patterned paper but designed it a bit differently.  Hope you like it!  These would both be great designs for using up scraps of patterned paper we all have in our stash.

Sisterhood Challenge (9/2026) - Frame It

Hello my friends!

Today I have a card for the new challenge over on The Sisterhood of Crafters!

 

Our theme today is:

 

 Frame It

  

Today I have opened my Autumn Garden Sticker book and found this lovely lady with her beautiful sunflower halo to use as the focus image on my card.  The framing die set I have used is Sue Wilson Frames & Tags Poppy (#CED4342) set.

 

   

 

 The paper used to cut out for my framing is from the Paper Studio Four Seasons 3 pack purchased at Hobby Lobby years ago.  I thought the colors were perfect with the image.

 

A few prima flowers and black Nuvo drops ... card complete!

Purple is my favorite . . .

 Hello All ... 

Hope all my USA friends had a fabulous Labor Day Holiday Weekend!

Today I'm joining in on a fun challenge that requires the use of my ALL TIME FAVORITE color  . . . PURPLE!  And of course their requirement of using a CAS design.  Here's what I've come up with for the challenge over on the Addicted to CAS Challenge Blog.

 I've used various strips of purple card stock scraps to create my design as well as used a scrap to die cut the Bo Bunny - Flutter Dies (#12839812) butterfly.  Various purple Nuvo Crystal Drops and this little The Stamp Pad Co. sentiment (also stamped in purple) are all that was needed to complete my design.

Neglected Stuff (9/2026)

 Hello friends!

Today I have a project to share that was created for our newest
NEGLECTED STUFF CHALLENGE.

The Neglected Stuff used today are this fun Stampers Anonymous - Tim Holtz 'Crazy Dogs' stamps and the Stampin' Up 'Paper Shapers' punch.

 

     

 

 

I just had to have these 'crazy dogs' (and the 'crazy birds') when they came out and then over time I've totally forgotten about them so today's a good day to share one of these fun puppies!! LOL   And as I've said before, once dies became available, my punches went by the wayside.  I still have them all but RARELY use them.

Peace on Earth Challenge #119

 Hello Friends and welcome back to my blog!

Today I have a card to share for the new challenge over on the PEACE ON EARTH CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG.  Of course the theme is Anything Christmas and we hope you'll come join in the fun! 

Here's a fun inspiration board we've created to help get you started ...

 

 What a beautiful inspiration board!  

Here's what I came up with  . . .

 For the background of today's card I have used the Spellbinder 'Scenic Poinsettia' 3D embossing folder on snow white card stock then sponged over the embossing using Delicata Golden Glitz pigment ink.  I die cut the Tutti Designs (no longer available) 'Corner Angel' from gold lame paper.  My beautiful sentiment is by Heartfelt Creations and was an RAK from North Carolina crafty friend Sandy.

Love Those Pretty Papers September 2026 Challenge

Hello Dear Friends

It's a new month and that means it's time for a new challenge over on our
LOVE THOSE PRETTY PAPERS blog.

Today, our OPTIONAL theme is

FALL FLORAL

 
Diane & I will be sharing a Themed pretty paper card as well as an Anything Goes card.

 Here's my card using today's THEME:

 

 This beautiful sunflower paper came from the gorgeous Brutus Monroe 'Sunflowersoiree' paper pack.  

  

 And then for the sentiment I did something I haven't done in years ... wet embossing.  Don't ask me why ... I have a ton of various embossing powders in every color but guess I just don't think to do it.  But I did today and I've used an old Inkadinkado Happy Birthday stamp and PK Glitz 'Twilight' embossing Glitter 'Meadow'.  This was purchased at the annual Adventures in Stamping Convention held here in Akron several years ago.  Coordinating Nuvo Crystal Drops were also used as an accent.

Now for my 2nd card (anything goes) ... 

 

 I spotted this Unity 'Autumnal Blooms' paper pack and just HAD TO HAVE IT!!

  

 For the sentiment  I used an old Stampin' Up set and an even older die set,  Labels 9 by Spellbinder.  Remember those?  LOL

Simply Clean & Simple (9/2026) - Jungle Animals

 Hello my friends and welcome to my blog!

Today I have a card to share for our challenge blog using the CAS (clean & simple) design style. 
Our blog is called Simply Clean & Simple and today's OPTIONAL theme is:

 

 Jungle Animals

  

 I had fun today creating the background for my giraffe sticker.  I've used TH distress oxide ink, stamps from an old Gina K set as well as added a bit of dimension with the hanging branches using a Stampscapes stamp.

Triple B (9/2026) Challenge

 Hello Friends!

Have you checkout our challenge blog called TRIPLE B?
It's all about using any of your stash but your project must have at least a BIRD, a BUTTERFLY or BLOOMS (flowers) visible on it.  Hence the title Triple B.

Here's this months inspiration board ...

 

 Here's what I've come up with . . .

 

 I first created my background sky using TH distress oxide ink, large sponge dauber and a cloud stencil.  Then created this fun scene using Stickers from my 'The Harvest Time' sticker book.  My sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamps clear stamp set and the little yellow butterflies are from an OLD Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

 

 Remember, our challenge begins on the 3rd of each month, ends on the last day of the month and Winner's are announced on the 2nd of each month.

 My lovely Fall background paper comes from the Unity 'Autumnal Blooms' paper pack.  

 

 The sentiment used today is from my DONI COLLECTION and is a Stampin' Up set called 'From My Heart'.  Doni had some fabulous stamps that are so different from what I have in my stash so I'm trying to use them as often as I can.  I'm sure she's looking down with approval!  (sure do miss my crafting friend)
