CCEE & Get Sketchy #7

Here is my creation for the CCEE Stampers Challenge to use Digis and the layout WAS for the Get Sketchy #7 challenge. I am SO FAR behind ... (that's what I get for going away for the weekend and having fun, LOL). I missed the Get Sketchy challenge time limit ... bummer but still have the chance to share it with you and the CCEE ladies.
The digi I chose to use comes from TERI who is a team mates over on the Digital-Ink Co. challenge blog. Please pop on over to Teri's Cards and Toppers for some wonderful inspiration and of course be sure to check out her wonderfully creative digis in her store called Delicious Doodles.
The background paper was a gift but I believe it might be from DCWV. I've used my Nestabilities circles for the sentiment and since I didn't have the stamps I needed ... I hand wrote it. Mr. Bat was colored with Prisma pencils and the sky was created with an Ala Art stamp and Versafine black ink.
Hope you like it and thanks for stopping in! DON'T FORGET ... Tomorrow is the very first Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential Challenge. We on the DT are so excited to show you what we've been up to! You don't want to miss it ... Vicki has some AWESOME fun planned for the upcoming weeks!!!

A Sketch - Recipe Challenge Combination ...

Today I finally found time to work on a couple of challenges. I decided to combine the RECIPE challenge over on the Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday blog with the SKETCH challenge over on the Get Sketchy blog ... and here's what I have come up with.
My image is a digi from Jules Junk which can be purchased over at the Digital-Ink Co. Store. Be sure to check out all the digi's available ... they are awesome!!! My bacground papers are Graphic45 and K&Co. Ancestry. I have bordered each panel using a gold Pilot marker with the exception of the main image of course, and that was matted using gold metallic paper and cut using a Nestabilities oval scallop die. I've used watercolor pencils and a blender pen for my coloring ... the gold satin ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and the garden green sprigs are from the Martha Stewart "branch" punch.
Thanks for stopping by today! Now I'm headed back to my craftroom for more fun. If all goes well, I'll have a few more creations to share with you over the next day or so. Happy Day Everyone!!!

Get Sketchy #4 & Basic Grey Challenges

My last posting for this Labor Day Weekend is for the Get Sketchy #4 Challenge and the Basic Grey Inspiration Challenge. I don't do many inspiration challenges (don't know why??) but I really enjoyed doing one today!

Check out what our inspiration piece was. The design papers from the Basic Grey Wisteria 6x6 pack worked perfectly. I also used Bazzill buttercream yellow and Old Olive cardstock.

Here are the other materials used on this creation:

Stamps: SU Fifth Avenue Floral
Inks: Versafine black
Accessories: Fiskars swivel craft knife, Creative Memories round tip green marker, Kaiser pearls, SU mint ribbon

Thanks for taking time to stop by and I hope you have a great week ahead!! Please stop by tomorrow when I hope to share with you creations designed for the SCS Crafty Secrets Forum Challenge (which I happen to be hosting, teehee), and a few others!!

Get Sketchy Challege #3

It's time for another Get Sketchy Challenge and here is the creation I made for it. I decided to do a Christmas card because my friend, Sandy let me punch out a few of her new Spellbinder Shapeabilities and I thought one would work perfectly for this layout!!

I have a habit of "sketching" the sketch for the challenge and taking it to my craftroom to work on (instead of printing it out). Looking at the actual sketch here ... I see I should have made the middle panel a little larger! But I'm still very happy with the outcome!!

Here are the materials used:

Stamps: Hero Arts

Papers: Christmas Green cs, Whisper White, The Paper Studio design paper, Christmas Red cs

Inks: Versafine Black

Accessories: Spellbinder Shapeabilities, Michaels holiday ribbon, Gold Pilot Marker

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Please come back tomorrow for Penny's Challenges, the Color Throwdown, the SCS Sketch Challenge and whatever else I might have time for, LOL!!!
