Sisterhood of Crafters - Birds

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
It's time for a new challenge over at the Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge Blog
and I'm happy to tell you I am your hostess today!  The theme I have chosen is:

BIRDS

It won't be long now before the birds are singing their spring song
and I can tell you ... I AM READY!  LOL

Today I have once again 'repurposed' a card I received in the mail from
one of the charities we contribute to.  And by doing so, have a beautiful matching
envelope to go with my 'redesigned' card creation.

I have used scraps of hot pink and turquoise blue to mat my photo
and embellished the corners using the Frantic Stamper 'Heart & Loop Corners' die set.

Frantic Stamper - Dies - Heart & Loop Corners

Using just the 'heart corner' die this time around.
My background paper is from the Paper Studio 'Country Road' paper pack
and the sentiment is an Art Impressions stamp.

I hope you'll pop over to see what my 'sistahs' have created to inspire you ...
Then come join in the fun ... can't wait to see what you create!

Challenges to share in:
Always Happy Birthday March Challenge - ATG
Crafty Animals Challenge #12 - ATG w/animals (ends 3/27)

Don't forget about the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog DT Call running through March 16, 2018.
You can find all the details by clicking HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and,

As always . . .

Oh, stop! You girls and these birds -- so beautiful! Holy cow, what a gorgeous image and sooooo pretty on your card with the extra design bits. A treat with the matching envelope, too. You know, I looked up that paper pack -- be still my heart! Would love to have it in 6x6 or 8x8 for my A2 cards. As IF I need more designer paper! This shopping is crazy. I need to catch up with my new stuff before summer gets here!

Beautiful, Darlene! What a great idea - repurposing those cards that need a little more love to make them reach their potential! LOL What's even more interesting is that the birds on your card are the same as Diane's and mine! Love it, sis!! Thank you for a wonderful challenge! I'm like you - so ready for some Spring weather!!

That is an idea for me to do with all the charity cards we get sent to us. At least when they are made over they are handmade then. And, they are usually wonderful looking cards to begin with that are set to us unsolicited.

Thanks for choosing our theme this month Darlene, I really enjoyed creating a card with a bird. What a great idea to re-purpose cards you receive, especially when you create something so beautiful as you have. Have a great week! Hugs, Gwendolyn
