Exciting day . . .

Hello Dear Friends!
How excited am I to tell you I've been asked to be the Guest Designer for April over on the Word Art Wednesday Blog!  It's always my honor to design for them sharing the beautiful scripture passages they offer.  Here's what I have for you today:

Here is the beautiful scripture passage if you'd like to create & share:

To bring full focus to this passage, I decided to print it onto a panel of designer paper then frame it before adhering it to another panel of the same designer paper on my card front.  A couple prima flowers and Nuvo crystal drops and this card is ready to mail.

The frame die I used is

Frantic Stamper - Dies - Elementals #20 - Art Deco Frames

I actually had one cut and ready to go and I think it was perfect for this beautiful verse!
And the designer paper is from a Basic Grey Kraft 6x6 paper pad.

The prize sponsor this challenge is Stamp Simply Clear Stamps

Stamp Simply Clear Stamps

I hope you'll come check out the other beautiful creations shared by the design team and then join in the fun.  I'll be back on the 24th with another beautiful passage to share for Word Art Wednesday

 Thanks for stopping by ...
As always ...

  1. Congrats on being the GD, Darlene! I love your card letting the verse truly be the focal point framed by that gorgeous die!

  2. Fabulous card, so unique with that verse framed beautifully!

  3. Love the elegant simplicity of your design, Darlene! Glad to see you at WAW!

  4. Well, isn't that a beautiful script for the verse! Beautifully framed, too. I love how you printed it directly on the DP. Congrats on your guest spot, Darlene!

  5. I love it printed on the designer paper and such pretty delicate framing. Perfect for Easter!

  6. Congratulations on your design spot and thank you for the lovely Bible verse; I really like the way you created your card.

  7. Beautiful card. I love that die, too.

Thanks for taking the time to leave me some love!
