Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Diane is hosting today and her theme this time around is ...
WATERCOLOR
And, here's the beautiful mood board she has created to inspire us all . . .
Believe it or not, I struggled a bit with this one ... guess I just had to get my head wrapped around the concept of actual water coloring ... something I don't do a lot of but love the end result when I do!! Inspired by the image in the upper left corner, here's what I came up with . . .
Here's a peek at the inside of my card . . .
After water coloring a panel of white card stock, I die cut it using the beautiful Memory Box 'Wrapped Stitched Frames' die set purchased from the Dies R Us Store.
I used the center (cut out) for the focus panel of my card front then used the actual 'frame' for my inside sentiment. I die cut another frame the same size to use for my inside sentiment so it would fit directly inside my colorful stitched frame.
Though you can't see the stitching on the front panel frame, it is there and this is the largest frame in the set. My stamp is a very old 'Great Impressions' wooden stamp and the sympathy sentiment is from Impression Obsession called 'Sympathy Sentiments' (#CL114).
Pop on over to our challenge to see what Diane has up for grabs to one lucky winner. Then, join in our fun and YOU could be that lucky winner!!
