A Spring Time Birthday

Hello dear friends!
I'm still working on some commissioned card for one of my 1st cousins so today
I have a birthday card to share.

I had pulled this background paper (Carta Bella 'Practically Perfect) for a different project but then changed my mind so decided to use it for a ladies birthday creation.  These cards I'm making are for some Amish ladies so I'm sure anything with flowers and ivy will be well received.

For the overlay, I have used the Paper Rose 'Quatrefoil Background 1' die.

Paper Rose - Dies - Quatrefoil Background 1

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Ivy Vine

The flower is actually a hibiscus blossom but I chose not to use the stamen.

Memory Box - Dies - Little Hibiscus Blossom
I've also used the largest die from the Cottage Cutz  'Nested Stitched Eyelet Circle Set' and cut it in half,

and placed my Tutti Designs Happy ... Birthday sentiment on.

Challenges I'd like to share in are:
Seize the Birthday Challenge #167 - Anything BIRTHDAY Goes
Scrapy Land Challenge #115 - Anything Goes using companies in their store.

 I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

  5. Gosh, that decorative lattice over the rose-sprigged paper sure is pretty. I have a weakness for anything with lattice. You can't go wrong with something this pretty for a birthday card. Love those ivy leaves, too. Really gorgeous, Darlene!

  7. So beautiful in every way. I love the die you used over the gorgeous pattern paper and the flowers and vine along the side remind me of them trailing on a trellis.
