Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
Diane is hosting today and as you can see by my blog title ... the theme is:
Orange & White ... THAT'S ALL!
Here is the fabulous mood board she has created to help inspire you . . .
Here's what I came up with (the 2nd time around that is ... lol):
Obviously, I was inspired by the polka dot buttons and the
texture on the orange bottles. In case you can't see
what I'm talking about here's a close up of the flower vase ...
The items I've used on today's card are:
Echo Park 'Dots & Stripes' 6x6 paper pack
I have a confession to make . . .
As I stated earlier, the card above was my 2nd time around ...
Unfortunately like so many others, I got in a hurry and didn't read the entire theme ...
you know the part where it says Orange and White ... THAT'S ALL!
So my first card looked like this:
Now mind you, it is a pretty card and it is now in my sale box for my upcoming Fall Shows but doesn't fit the theme since I used green ivy & leaves. Hence this card which DOES fit the theme ...

Fantastic! Beautiful textured vase and I love those dandelions! So many wishes to be made!ReplyDelete
So very pretty!! Love those flower dies against the dotted background. The vase reminds me of a milk glass vase I used to have. Love that die cut!ReplyDelete
I love the new pictures at the top of your blog. It reminds me of fall in Western Pa. I love your textured vase of flowers. Great design.ReplyDelete
Both cards are amazing and I can certainly see how one can get caught up. I quickly when back to my card to see if I goofed. Looks like I got caught up with just the colors as there are NO flowers on the mood board. I think just the orange and white flowers are grand!ReplyDelete
