So, I hope you will help us 'go out with a bang!' and join in the fun.
So, I hope you will help us 'go out with a bang!' and join in the fun.
Our theme this time around was selected by team mate Chrissy ...
And our sponsor this month is Crafty Ribbons.
Chrissy's fun theme is ...
Frosty and Cold
and here's what I came up with . . .
I have been wanting to create a holiday scenery card so today's the day!
I have had this Inkadinkado stamp in my stash for years
and of course it's only around the time of the year that I blow the dust off it.
I recently bought THREE 12x12 paper pads at Michaels ... yes THREE!
(like I don't already have enough paper geesh!) ... but they were big pads and
I couldn't pass up the price ... Buy 1 Get 2 FREE!
And this black & white snowy paper was in one of the pads and I thought
worked perfectly for my black & white scene!
My framework was created by using the smaller portions of this beautiful
and my snowflake is from a Hunkydory die set called
'Let It Snow' (MSTONE039)
Of course I had to add a touch of sparkle on the roof, tree & snowflake
using Diamond Stickles. Here's a close up in case you didn't spot
it on the full size photo.
I hope you'll come join in this FUN challenge
So sorry for the clousure of the challenge!

ReplyDeleteTerrific stamp, you have a classic there, will never go out of style. I love it with the black and white background and the stickles are a great touch for it!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful Christmas card Darlene. I like the stamp, it has a lovely nostalgic look and the frame realy sets it off. The snowflake is a perfect add. Marlies
ReplyDeleteBeautfully Brrr-y, Darlene. Perfect cold and frosty card. xxo
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful and twinkly, Darlene!! You'll use all that paper for your craft sale projects, I'm sure. Cannot pass up a bargain like that! Sheesh, I just ordered a whole ton of cardstock and envies because one thing I use and love was being discontinued and there were some other things I actually needed so...
