Hello Dear Friends!
Today I've created yet another Christmas card using one of the new dies from the Tutti Design Store.
The die used today is called 'Winter Lantern'
I thought it worked perfectly with my wintertime cabins designer paper
but since all the little piece pop out of this die, I wanted to
give it a solid backing so you could see the beautiful
scene on the inside. To do that, I laid my die onto a 4x6 panel
of copper foil paper and using my piercing tool, outlined the lantern
(all but the handle) then proceeded to fussy cut along my outline.
Next I colored the 'handle' using a Silver Pilot Marker
and glued my die cut down to the copper panel.
I've added some icicles to the top of my card and popped up
my lantern using dimensional tape.
Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store
and check out all of the fabulous dies available.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love the lantern and those great icicles dies. [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteYou always have fun papers to go with your dies and stamps. I love the details in that lamp and great idea to back it and have a silver handle!
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect paper and die combo! I'd like to spend my Christmas in one of those cabins, but only if I had plenty of firewood!
