Mix It Up Challenge - Fancy Fold

Hello my friends!
A new month means a new challenge over on the Mix It Up Challenge Blog.
Remember, this is a monthly Anything Goes challenge but with a fun twist that you can choose to join in on ... or not!  This month's theme is:

FANCY FOLD

I had a lot of fun with this theme since I find myself in the rut of creating just the normal rectangular card.  Today I went with a Tri-Shutter card design which I hand measured/cut ... no die (yet!) for this particular fancy fold but the Spring Adventures in Stamping is coming up at the end of the month so I just might be on the look out for a die for the base card which would make it quick & easy!

When closed, this card is A2 in size but sure packs a punch when opened ... don't you think?

I've used deep green for the base card and cut from a 12x12 floral panel I had in my stash.  To decorate I've used various dies, prima flowers and a birthday sentiment stamp.

I do hope you'll pop over to the Mix It Up Challenge Blog and join in the fun!
You have until 6 PM EST the last day of the month to enter!
I'm so inspired by the rest of our amazing DT
and I can't wait to be inspired by YOUR project!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to stop by!

  1. I actually have a die for this design and love using it! It makes these so much faster and I'm more apt to make them now! Your card is gorgeous with the bright and happy colors you chose!

    1. I'd love to know who makes that die. I've never seen it. Measuring is not my thing.

  2. This is stunning and looks so complicated to make, and who would think that this folds to an A2 sized card. This is truly amazing!
