New stamps to play with . . .

 Hello All and Happy Monday!

I hope all you Moms out there had a fabulous day yesterday!
I sure did ... I am SO BLESSED!

LOL ... just in case you didn't see this on my FB page ...
My Four Generations

At the end of April each year, I'm fortunate enough to have the Adventures in Stamping Convention come to Akron!  It's not like I need anymore crafting stuff but how could I pass up going when it is 'RIGHT HERE IN TOWN!'    I did a little crafty indulging and today I'd like to share cards I created using a couple of the stamps I picked up at the Technique Junkie booth.

Don't ask me why, but this stamp struck me funny so I just had to buy it!

Recently I've been asked for a lot of 'encouragement' cards so while looking through all the stamps available I kept that in mind and also picked up this stamp set  ...

It's going to be a beautiful day today so I'm headed back outside to help hubby finish spreading the 7 yards of mulch we had delivered last week.  We are more than half way through so hopefully we can get it finalized between today/tomorrow.  That is if my body holds up lol ... getting too old for this hard labor!  LOL

Challenges to share in:

Critter Crazy Challenge #62 - ATG with a Critter
Crafty Animals Challenge #61 - ATG with an Animal
Creative Sketchy Girls Challenge #71 - Animal on your card
Daisy Chain Challenge #63 - Add an animal

Have a great day and a wonderful week ahead!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and say hello!!

  2. OMGosh, Darlene, I was still laughing out loud when I got to the end of your post! That octopus sentiment is hilarious!!! You have the perfect paper for a simple card with that sentiment. Your plump birds are so sweet on their pretty cards. You know how I love bird stamps and dies. Cute little crocheted flower. Thank you so much for sharing your four generations photo, too. It's so lovely to see all of you together and I'm not on Facebook so I feel like I miss a lot. I would not pass up a stamp convention if it was right here in town! I went to one in the Chicago area years ago, but we don't even have a craft store here anymore, other than small store sections, boo hoo.
