Can You Handle The Pressure - Orange/Black

Hello Friends, thanks for stopping by today!

We have a new challenge starting today over on our new Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge Blog and the TWIST theme is 'ORANGE/BLACK'.  Remember, the twist is optional but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the prize.  Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with an embossing folder.

Here's what I've created to inspire you today.

How much fun am I having today, creating this fun Halloween card!

I began by cutting strips of black & orange card stock then creating my background panel.

Once I created the background panel, I decided to emboss it using a very old Provo Craft - Cuttlebug embossing folder.  These older embossing folders don't have names on them so we'll just call this one 'Swirls'.

I then die cut a panel of white card stock using a Tutti Designs cross stitched rectangle die set and embossed it using the same folder.  My 'cooking witch' is also from Tutti Designs and my cute little ghost is from the Impression Obsession die set called 'BOO'.

So there you have it ... a quick way to create using these traditional Halloween colors.

Not that you have to do Halloween mind you!!
Our challenge is ANYTHING GOES WITH EMBOSSING FOLDERS
and the TWIST is only there if you want to use it!

 Here's another look at my card . . .

I do hope you'll come check out our new blog and play along.
AND yep ... we will be offering prizes at our challenges ... that's always a fun surprise!

Here's today's prize offering . . .

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
I appreciate it more than you'll ever know!!

As always . . .

  10. It's the strangest thing... I have that embossing folder, have used it a bazillion times, and have never noticed how cool the pattern really is. I always saw it as a bunch of random swirls, but your white panel especially shows it off. I had to go look at mine again to be sure it was the same folder, sheesh. Love your dies and that way cool orange and black background. Great card, Darlene!
