CAS Birthday

Hello Friends!
I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!
We are so blessed to have family within a couple of hours driving distance
to spend time with this past weekend!

Today I wanted to create something to share with you but didn't
have a lot of time to invest so I decided to look into a few challenges that
I felt I could combine and create quickly.

This is the card I came up with and it satisfies the following challenges:
Always Fun Challenge #52 - Happy Birthday
Get Creative Challenge #68 - No Pattern Paper

I was actually looking for a stamp or die cut of a small bee to add but do you think I could find one??  NO!  Well I'll have to do something about THAT!!  LOL

I rarely think to stencil so this was really fun!  I've used a Memory Box Stencil along with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink.  My sentiment is from Simon Says and I've used Nuvo black crystal drops to adorn the upper corner and add balance.

Like I said, Quick & Easy but I still think turned out to be a very nice card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule!

As always . . .

Who needs patterned paper when you have stencils and ink, right! Love the sweet honeycomb pattern of your darling CAS card. So sweet!

I don't stencil much either, and I love what you have done here. I'm so partial to the honeycomb and bee look. This is just a great design, I really like the colors you chose!

Wow, cool stencil! Where's that bee die when you need it? But it looks great on its own. Love me a simple card now and then!
