It's Fussy & Fancy Time!

It's time once again for a new challenge over at the 

Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog!

 Today's theme was chosen by our very talented Gina, and our theme is . . .

Add a Die Cut

Here's my creation . . .

I die cut the Sue Wilson striplet die from the front of my A6 card front then added a scrap piece of designer paper to the inside (back of front cover) for color.  I also die cut my Sue Wilson grape leaves from a scrap of that same designer paper and added Memento 'Bamboo Leaves' ink to the edges for a contrast in color.

Using Tim Holtz Oxide Distress Inks (Pistachio & Wilted Violet), I sponged ink onto a scrap of white card stock before cutting out my Happy Birthday sentiment ... laying the dies in the middle of the two colors. 

The same Wilted Violet ink was used on the upper lace panel to give it the appearance of hanging grapes (did it work?  lol).
