Three Little Birdies sitting on a branch . . .

Hi All!
Today I have a creation that began when I saw the latest Monday challenge over on Simon Says.  The theme is 'A Trio of Something'.   Those who follow my blog remember seeing this image last week on another card creation.  When I stamped it, I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do so I stamped it more than once.  THIS  is the left over image!

On my other card HERE, I colored the Heartfelt Creations birds to mimic blue birds ... today they are more like wrens! LOL
I have once again used Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol for my coloring.
The background paper is from an older BasicGrey paper pad called 'Basics Kraft Paper Pad'.  The moss green card stock that I used for my matting is from another old paper pad by DCWV.  As an accent, I die cut the Sue Wilson 'Petite Vinery' from a scrap of white card stock and then colored it with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

A few little drops of Nuvo Dandelion Yellow Crystal Drops, and my card is complete.

Ooops ... almost forgot, my bird image & mat were die cut using the Tutti Designs 'Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangles'.

A very easy design today and I haven't assigned it an actual 'theme' yet.
Maybe I'll just leave it blank.  That way it could be used for just about anything!!

Challenges to share in:

Okay that's it for me today!
Hope you're having a GREAT day!!

As Always . . .

However you color them, they're pretty little birds! Put them on a beautifully designed card -- earthy colors and pretty die cuts -- and they look fabulous! I like having blank cards on hand for whatever occasion. This one doesn't even need a sentiment, it's just so sweet!

so sweet, love how we can color our birds to match what kind we want them to be, your wrens look great and I love your die cut vines to frame the image!
