Black & White Birthday

Hello All and Happy Weekend!
I have another birthday card to share with you today and it was
Blog in mind.

Once again I have grabbed my new Simon Says 'Even More Spring Flowers' stamp
set to create with.  I first stamped white onto black for my 1st background panel,
then black onto white for my 2nd background panel and of course  added
a partial flower in the upper corner of the 'Thoughtful Messages' sentiment panel.
This is such a fun stamp set to create with and I'm sure you're getting tired of seeing so much of it, but I just can't help myself!  LOL

A touch of pink ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon group adorns the center and I've colored my partial flower using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

I have popped up my panels using Scotch dimension tape and the panels were die cut using the Tutti Designs Cross Stitched Nesting Rectangles and the Dotted Nesting Rectangles.

I plan on stamping another flower on the inside once I get around to finishing the inside!  Which had better be today since I want to have it available for a private show I am doing on the 18th.  Time is Flying!!

Gorgeous flowers, love the black and white with a POP of color! (I actually just made something kind of similar, great minds and all!)

I would love creating with this set, so no way I'd get tired of seeing it! The sentiment set has a little of everything, too, so I'd be reaching for that a lot. Very cool the way you reversed the black and white and then topped it off with the one colored flower. Pretty! Good luck getting ready for your show!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful black and white card with us Darlene. One of my favourite design styles. Love the pop of pink on the flower. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card with us at the "Feminine" Anything Goes challenge at the Watercooler this week.

I have had my eye on that stamp set and you have used it perfectly here. Love the colors, and the spotlight is so clever. Great card!

I love this design, Darlene! There used to be a challenge somewhere that they called "Black and White with a Splash" and the splash would change to a different color each time - this is a great example of that! Thank you for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!

This card is just beautiful - such a great design! The little spotlighted flower portion by the sentiment is perfect. Apologies for taking so long to come and comment. Thank you for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge - Charlotte/Lady Joyful, DT
