Hello Friends!
Happy Friday afternoon!
While waiting for the BIG snow storm to hit, I thought I'd
play around with a couple of new stamp sets I purchased a few weeks back.
I started out by creating my background using Tim Holtz distress inks and large sponge daubers. Then came the fun of stamping this scene using the 'Fairy Stamps' set from Joanna Sheen (England) and a Marianne Designs stamp set called 'Silhouettes - Fairies & Butterflies'.
A couple challenges I'd like to enter into are:
Southern Girls Challenge - Anything Goes
Time Out Challenge #127 - Inspired by Words
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - For a Child
Word Art Wednesday Challenge #370-#371 - Anything Goes
That's it for me today!
Back to creating for a few more hours before
dinner hour calls upon me to cook! LOL
As always . . .
** UPDATE **
I've used this card as an Encouragement Card and hand wrote
a personal message inside.

ReplyDeleteThis is super sweet Dar! We're getting your snow today. 18-24 inches! I'll be tucked away in my craft room too. ;0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful combo! It looks like these stamps were meant for each other. Actually, I thought the image was all one stamp. Such a pretty silhouette for your nicely shaded background. Have a good time hunkered down in your stamp room while the snow falls!
ReplyDeletegreat background for your sweet fairy stamp, I just used one of sheenas silhouette stamps on a card I will probably post tomorrow, they are pretty stamps. Hope you didn't get hit by that snow too hard.
