PRIZES !! PRIZES !! PRIZES !!
Hello Everyone!
Hello Everyone!
I have some exciting news to share today!
As most of you know, my BFF Diane (Nellie's Nest) and I decided to start our own challenge blog a while back and this year begins our THIRD year sharing fun challenges at the Double D Challenge Blog.
Since Diane does the challenge for the beginning of the month and I do the middle of the month, she has come up with an awesome challenge to celebrate this occasion and is offering not one but THREE ... yes THREE PRIZES for this challenge!! You won't want to miss joining in the fun!!
Here is our theme and fabulous mood board Diane has created . . .
3rd Anniversary ~ It's On The Menu
We are 'partying' and celebrating at Double D and are hungry..lol...
we want you to use anything you might find on a menu...
cakes, coffee, tea, ice cream, fruit...anything!
Check out this SWEET mood board Diane has created to inspire you . . .

Thanks to Barbara for the top left picture!
(how cool is that ... our very own menu ... who knew!!)
Some of the DT ladies will also be sharing a PRIZE on their blogs
to celebrate our anniversary so you'll want to be sure and pop over to each blog and
share the love!!
I'm an ice cream lover so that's what I order off the menu every chance I get! LOL With that in mind, here's what I've come up with . . .
The dies I've used today are from the Dies R Us Store and are as follows:
Penny Black - Your Day 'Happy Birthday' #51-202
Inside View |
As you see on this card, I sometimes like to mix & match my
sentiments ... using' Happy' from one die set on the front
and 'Birthday' from another die set on the inside.
My background paper is also from the Dies R Us Store.
For the top of my card I've created an old fashion looking shade from red/white gingham paper and punched the border using an older Marsha Stewart floral vine punch. Then popped it up using dimensional tape.
The ice cream cone is also popped up for dimension with the word happy glue tacked across the front as well as a touch of glue on the loop of the 'h' and loop of the 'y'.
To get a more authentic color for my cone, I die cut both pieces from kraft card stock then sponged Tim Holtz 'Wild Honey' distress oxide ink over top.
Lastly came the cherries! They were die cut from white card stock then colored using my ZIG markers. The cherries were popped up also and at the last minute I thought it would be cute to hang the smaller cherries over the word sentiment. FUN!
REMEMBER, we have THREE fun prize to give away this time around!
The winner's will be chosen by Random.org.
ALL are welcome to enter ... we will ship internationally!
Prizes are ..........
NOPE! NOT GOING TO SHOW YOU ...
you'll have to pop over to Double D and check it out for yourself! LOL
So be sure to pop over to the Double D Challenge Blog to see all the details and amazing samples offered up by our VERY TALENTED design team ladies!!
And REMEMBER ... several of the ladies are also offering prizes on their blogs!
