SCARIN' UP SOME PUMPKINS
(Scarecrows and/or Pumpkins)
Check out this amazing mood board she has created for your inspiration!
I decided to go with PUMPKINS and when I spotted this awesome image on Pinterest, I just knew I wanted to create something to showcase it. Here's what I came up with . . .
I've used a few different dies to create my framework as well as a die for my fall leaves. I had a few scraps of fall watercolor paper laying around that I created using Tim Holtz oxide distress inks so utilized those bits & bobs for the leave.
I just love the change of seasons and of course Fall is one of my favorites!
I've used the outside die from this Sue Wilson Frames & Tags - Poppy die set for the outer pumpkin color.
Next, from the center cut I then cut out another framing panel using the Lawn Fawn Large Cross Stitched Rectangles. This time from Rust colored card stock. How nice that now that gives me a beautiful cross stitched rectangle panel which I will hang onto for another project.
My sentiment is die cut from dark green card stock (though it looks black in the photo) and I've used the Frantic Stamper 'Fall Words' die set.
And the leaves die I decided on today is the Impressions Obsession 'Small Leaves' set.
I do hope you'll come join in our challenge ... this is going to be a FUN ONE!
Check out what Diane has up for grabs to one lucky random draw winner.
