Hello Everyone!
It's a new month and that means the start of a new monthly challenge
over on the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog.
WOW! Can you believe that Christmas is behind us for another year?
But, trust me when I say
"There's NO TIME like the PRESENT to get started on next year's cards!"
With that being said ... here's my first card for the 2020 holiday season.
I have used a mixture of dies for today's card:
I substituted the icicles in the Holiday Birdhouse set
for icicles I punched from a scrap of white card stock using a
very old Martha Stewart icicle punch.
I've also used various Stickles to add sparkle to the 'string of lights',
die cut another oval panel (using the same oval die) from light blue card stock
and sponged a little brighter blue on top.
The birdhouse was popped up with dimensional tape as was the entire oval panel.
I hope you've enjoyed today's Christmas card and I can't wait to see what you create and share over at the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by and wishing you a fabulous week ahead!
As always ...
Adorable card!!

Wow ! So cute your card Darlene ! Hugs
ReplyDeleteSo pretty is that bird house and so festive with the pretty lights.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I didn't see this before this afternoon's shopping at DRU or I would have ordered more than I did. So cute! I like how you used the Tutti heart panel (I almost bought that one). I'm in total agreement that it's never too early. Seems like I learn my lesson every December and then forget it again in the following year.
ReplyDeleteOh is that ever too cute, I just love how you have decorated their home for Christmas right down to the lights!!
ReplyDeleteHi Darlene, so happy to be int he same team with you again! I love how you combined all the diecuts to make this adorable birdhouse, you're so good at that! Hugs, Gwendolyn
ReplyDeleteSo sweet and festive, Darlene. I too make Christmas cards all year round. By the time Christmas comes around, I don't normally have that last minute rush :-) It's a great plan!
ReplyDeleteYou'll probably have a gazillion notifications today from me. I'm trying to catch up on my commenting as from the beginning of 2020. Now that my family has left and I feel a little bit more human after having had the flu. New Year resolution to keep up with my comments didn't go off to a great start :-) There's still time to get it on track, right?
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
♥ Lena
