Hello Everyone!
It's a new month and that means the start of a new monthly challenge
over on the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog.
The card I have to share with you today was created using a
new (to me) technique for the background that I saw someone do way back in November.
It's using foil paper ... alcohol ink and an embossing folder.
Elements used on my card are:
Memory Box Snowflake Corner #98238
Hunkydory Let It Snow #MSTONE039
Alcohol Inks
Provo Craft - Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing Folder
Silver Foil Paper
Red Cardstock and Holiday Plaid Designer Paper
I hope you've enjoyed today's Christmas card and I can't wait to see what you create and share over at the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by and wishing you a fabulous week ahead!
As always ...
Oh, gosh, cute! The red, the plaid, the cocoa cup - love it all! Cool background! You remind me that I have a similar technique bookmarked and naturally I forgot all about it until seeing your card. Too many things to try, too many new stamps to ink up!
ReplyDeleteThis card makes me want to go and get a cup of hot chocolate right now!! So cute and creative with a fabulous background!
ReplyDeleteGreat holiday design and I love the frothy cup of cocoa. Makes me want a cup so I think that is just what I am going to do too!
ReplyDeleteLovely and shining card, great design! Love the cute mug!
ReplyDeleteMMM, that looks really nice right now, hot cocoa with some whip cream :), interesting technique!
ReplyDeleteGotta love living in SE Houston. Our temps in the 80's and it's in the low 40's going down to the mid 30's by tomorrow morning :-) So, yes a nice hot cuppa will go down very well right about now :-) Don't have to wait for Christmas :-) Love the card design and the festive papers you used. The embossing is gorgeous!
