Welcome back friends!
Today
I'm sharing a creation using TWO more of the new dies from our
December 2019 release. I encourage you to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store
and check out all the fabulous dies available.
These two new fun dies brought back a lot of happy memories for me!
I have two sisters, one older and one younger and we spent many hours doing these two things ... skipping rope & hula hooping (I'd probably hurt myself if I tried this today! lol)
Anyways, by die cutting both dies in silhouette form, this card came together VERY QUICKLY!
The dies used are:
Can you see the intricate detail in these dies? Beautiful!
And, they are perfect for paper piecing or coloring also ... fun, fun!
I simply used light blue paper for the background sky and tore a scrap of green card stock to create the 'grass'. A few little butterflies and VIOLA!
I've also used Tutti Designs dies for my sentiment . . .
Happy (used the smaller die on the front)
and the larger Birthday on the inside of my card.
Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store
and check out all of the fabulous dies available.

Lovely card! The dies look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute and yes brings back lots of memories of years past, cute idea to add those butterflies!
ReplyDeleteLove this memory moving cards! Double Dutch, Hula Hoops and playing Jacks were 3 favorite pastimes for my sister and I. These die cuts are adorable.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm certainly glad I came to pay a visit Darlene! I had not heard of Tutti Designs and have a good old browse over there - they have a UK online shop! Such intricate dies. I love your playing girls - and yes, like Vicki, your charming scene reminds me of my sister and I playing when we were girls :)

so cute and fun, this sure did bring back memories for me too, my girlfriend and I did this all the time together, I was real good with the hulu hoop :)
ReplyDeleteI love those dies. And, you certainly made a great scene with them. Brings back memories to me too! And our kids all had fun with these activities too.
ReplyDeleteThese girls really are just adorable! I'm having all the memories, too. Didn't have sisters, but plenty of girlfriends. I feel the sunshine and smell fresh cut grass as I look at your card. So cute!
