Hello Friends and Happy Weekend to you!!
I hope you are all staying safe & healthy! So glad you've stopped by for a visit!
Today I'm sharing a couple of encouragement cards. These cards were inspired by the new challenge over at the CCEE Stampers Blog where the theme is Lighthouse + Scripture or Encouraging Words. Did you know yesterday (August 7th) was Lighthouse Day? No? Me either! But they did! LOL
The sentiment on the front of my card comes from another Divinity Designs called 'Anchor'.
And for the inside sentiment, I have used a stamp from the 'Words of Inspiration' set by Inspired by Stamping. This too is a very old stamp set which was purchased through the Adventures in Stamping Convention held here in Akron, Ohio every spring. (couldn't find them online any longer)
I've decided I need to create more Faith/Encouragement themed cards for my shows (if they ever start up again lol) so here's a second card creation for today and you'll probably be seeing more cards of this theme here on my blog over the next few weeks.
I've created the sky & ocean using TH oxide distress inks onto a larger die cut circle then adhered it behind my Tutti Designs Scallop Stitched Circle die cut from the front panel.
The boat & birds are from an old Inkadinkado stamp set and my palm trees are from the Frantic Stamper 'Palm Tree Edger' set. Once again, I've used the Divinity Designs called 'Anchor' for my sentiment (inside & out).
Tutti Designs Scallop Stitched Rectangle dies were used for the sentiment panels.
