Hello Dear Friends!
It's time once again for a new challenge over on the Double D Challenge Blog!
I'm happy to say I am hosting today's challenge and today's theme is:
SUNFLOWERS
The design team ladies have come up with some amazing designs for your
inspiration, be sure to pop over and check 'em out! Speaking of
inspiration ... here's the mood board I created ... hope it helps to
inspire you!
Here's what I have created for you ... can you tell what items in the mood board inspired me?? Yep ... bottom right corner ... sunflowers, fence & bird(s).
Having had this Stampendous stamp set in my stash for awhile now, today was the day to 'ink it up'! I've actually stamped it twice and after coloring, I fussy cut around the top two flowers and popped them up over the original stamped image for dimension.
My little bird is a Marianne die that I've also had for quite some time and had never used until today. It did actually take me a few minutes to figure out how the pieces fit (thankfully I saved the image from the packaging in my storage binder).
I have used the Impression Obsession 'Large Fence',
and also a Cottage Cutz 'Grass Border' (#CC-BR07-001)
for my design.
Having used some never before used items today makes this creation also fit the NBUS Challenge Blog by Darnell. In case you're not aware, NBUS stands for Never Before Used Schtuff LOL.

ReplyDeleteOur neighbors lost their big maple tree in the front yard last spring and she has planted a small garden of towering sunflowers in its place, surrounded by a little fence! It's as if you drove through the neighborhood and saw it, Darlene! And, of course, the birds love them! Thank you so much for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Keep safe! Hugs, Darnell
