Happy Saturday Everyone!
I'm in need of some new birthday cards, so I got busy yesterday and came up up with a couple. Would you like to see? It actually felt good to break away from Christmas cards for awhile lol.
For this first card, I have a lot of edge style dies that I rarely use and thought they would work well for a quick card and I was right!!! This edge die is by Elizabeth Craft Moda Scrap #1504 Romantic Bouquet.
For my second card today,
The dies used are:
Cottage Cutz - Nesting Stitched Scallop Rectangles (CCB-065)
Penny Black - Celebrations (#51-028)
Cheery Lynn Designs - Lace Corner Deco E (#B165)
The background paper is very, very old and I've also used a coordinating Nuvo Crystal Drops for the lower corner 'pearls'. Did you notice I did a little paper piecing? Yep I stamped the cloth lid cover from the same designer paper and fussy cut it to add a little extra character to the jar.
That's it for me today!
Hope you've enjoyed today's card share!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and PLEASE be safe & healthy!
Thanks for stopping by and as always . . .
Wonderful cards. Love the bold color and that fabulous die for your first card as well as the soft colors on your second one. That pattern papers is perfect for your mason jar.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are so beautiful. Gorgeous designs.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are beautiful and love the red and white on the first one, sure to make anyone happy receiving these!
ReplyDeleteI love those border dies to dress up a card, so easy but so pretty at the same time! I love the second card too, that just shows that old papers never go out of style, this one is quite lovely!! Like the springtime feel to the card!
ReplyDeleteOooh, beautiful die on your first card, and you just happen to have the perfect vertical sentiment to go with it! I also really love your second card. What a cute stamp set. It reminds me of yet another of my NBUS die sets. Big surprise that I'd have a NBUS die set, right? Sheesh!
