Dies R Us Challenge - Winter Wonderland

Hello Friends!

Here we are in the middle of December and that means it's time for another fun challenge over on the  Dies R Us Challenge Blog. Our theme today is:

Winter Wonderland

Dies used on today's card are:

Sue Wilson Designs - Festive Collection - Peeking Snowflake
Sue Wilson Designs - Festive Collection - Peeking Snowflake

On my white card base, I sponged around the outside edge with Tim Holtz 'Salty Ocean' Distress ink using the Picket Fence Studios Blender Brushes.

To add my snowflake border, I used a narrow strip of dimensional tape across the top.  Since the other sticky side would show through the holes on the front of the panel, I decided to burnish those sticky open pieces with some ice blue glitter.  Here's a close up ... (so much prettier in person!)

Don't forget to check out sister store in Canada . . .
Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in USA & Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada. Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different. Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

I hope you will come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store

  14. You are so smart! What a fabulous idea to use glitter to cover up the sticky side of the tape. I normally just grab talcum powder or rub my embossing buddy right over it. Beautiful card, love the dies you used.
