WINTER FUN
(sledding, snowman, skating, etc.)
Remember, the twist is optional
but you MUST use an embossing folder on our projects to qualify for the
prize. Heat embossing is also permitted but only in conjunction with
an embossing folder.
Here's what I've created to inspire you today.
Oh how I miss the days of sled riding and snow ball fights with my sisters!
Those were the 'Good 'ole Days' ...
My dad LOVED coming up with things for us to do in the winter months (besides barn work that is lol)! He built us a big snow FORT where we and the neighbor kids had some pretty awesome snowball battles! An IGLOO ... (yep I actually have a photo of me with my puppy sitting inside it ... actually had lighting too! LOL There was a 'trouble light' hanging down in the center of the 'ceiling'. Pretty cool stuff for these country kids!

The background embossed panel is actually one that I wasn't happy with back in August (see that post HERE) but since it was on the work table and you know we never throw things away ... a little modification and I was able to use it today.

Super cute my friend! Those were the days of snow ball fights and sled rides! My mom was always so creative for us kids and I too miss thos days of long ago!

ReplyDeletevery cute scene with the kids enjoying the snow. Wow you brought up some great memories for me of growing up in Michigan, we use to make forts out of snow too, it was always fun to make different rooms!

The silhouettes of children playing in the snow makes my heart happy as I have the same kind of snowball fight memories of days gone by. ReplyDeleteOh, how fun this is! I love what you did with the embossed background. Altogether it's such a beautiful snow scene. Most of all, I love hearing about your magical childhood. There would be more happiness in the world if everyone could grow up that way.
